What is the Melonz Warranty?
Melonz warrants its products to be free from material defects or workmanship issues for a period of 365 days from the original date of purchase. This warranty is only valid for the original owner and does not extend to any third parties.
To start a warranty claim, please contact us and send us your order number or other proof of purchase, along with a photo of the potential warranty issue. Original proof of purchase is required. If you have a return or exchange issue, please see our returns and exchange policy. Products that are excluded are indicated on their product page.
What is Covered?
To ensure the warranty of your product(s), please refer to the proper use and maintenance instructions that were included with your product at purchase. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so please contact us if you have any issues with your order. If your products have material defects or issues with workmanship, we will take care of the problem.
Here are some examples of issues covered by our 365 day warranty:
- Malfunctioning hinges
- Flaking or discoloration of the frame
- Premature decay of nose pads and/or temple grips
- Breakage of the frame or lenses due to structural failure
- Delamination, bubbles, peeling or other imperfections of the lens coating
What is Not Covered?
The following misuse is not covered by the Melonz warranty:
- Lost or stolen items
- Normal wear and tear, which includes scratches or marks on lenses
- Damage caused by improper use or storage, or damage caused by intentional or unintentional abuse, neglect, or accident
- Any damage caused by solvents or chemicals, which may include sunscreen, hair spray, cologne, kitchen cleaners, alcohol, etc
- Any modifications

For those moments when life happens, we've got you covered with a $20 full service lens replacement and a $25 full frame replacement. Whether it's a day on the beach or an unexpected adventure, we want your Melonz to be right there with you, in perfect condition.
As stated above, Melonz products come with a 365-day warranty against material defects or workmanship issues, valid for the original owner with proof of purchase. This warranty covers everything from malfunctioning hinges to the premature decay of nose pads and more. However, it's good to note that normal wear and tear or damage from improper use aren't covered.
